Ingredients
- 500g Chicken breast strips
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cornflour
- 2 egg whites
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 tbsp red chili paste
- 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 1 tsp vinegar
- 1/4 cup cashew nuts, chopped
- 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
- 1/2 cup spring onions, chopped
- 2-3 tbsp oil for frying
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Directions
- In a bowl, combine flour, cornflour, salt, and pepper. Dip the chicken strips into the egg whites, then coat them in the flour mixture.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the coated chicken strips until they are golden and crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In another pan, add a little oil and sauté the ginger garlic paste and bell peppers. Stir in the soy sauce, red chili paste, tomato ketchup, vinegar, and cashew nuts.
- Add the fried chicken to the sauce mixture and toss until evenly coated. Garnish with spring onions before serving.
